Sistem Informasi Berbasis Multimedia

Abstract

Information Systems is an implementation of computing for serve management board to get a high quality of information. Information systems work to collect data, store them and then processing the data to information. Data can form as text as common data form. The emerging computer technology can give us with variety of data form, not only text. Multimedia data form such as picture, motion picture, sound can also pick as data for our computer as input. The technology is also can serve us to display information as multimedia information that it’s more rich than information formed by text and table. We can process medical data like rontgen photo, map data pick from satelite, sound of the animall etc, then store them into database. Although this is not text we also can queryng the data called image querying. From multimedia databases we can make an information by processing the multimedia data into valuable information.
